What 仹 means
It names a legendary immortal. A Chinese dictionary of sounds and rhymes from the Song era, Guangyun, records it as an immortal’s name; that dates the entry, not the character’s invention. As of 2026-09-09, Taiwan’s Ministry of Education dictionary marks 仹 absent from Shuowen Jiezi, an early dictionary of Chinese characters. Its form combines 亻 with 丰, the sound-related component; later dictionaries also list 仹 as equivalent to 丰.
Archaic and dictionary-centered; its recorded meaning is a name.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
