What 崏 means
崏 is an old variant of 岷 used in Mount Min’s name.
The Book of Han, a history of China's Han dynasty, uses 崏山 for Mount Min and gives the river the same name. Taiwan's Ministry of Education character-variant dictionary lists 崏 as a form of 岷 and notes that the early Chinese dictionary Shuowen does not record it.
Literary and place-name-specific; outside a historical reference, it can read as an archaic spelling.

It can. As of 2026, fonts for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean may draw the same encoded character with regional shapes; a font difference alone does not mean a different character.
