What 徎 means
It describes swift movement or a small path. In Mandarin, chěng (roughly “ch” as in “church” plus “eng,” with a dipping tone) means swift movement; zhèng (roughly “j” as in “judge” plus “eng,” with a falling tone) means a small path after rain. The earliest surviving dictionary entry is in the Han-era Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary compiled around 100 CE. It glosses 徎 as “徑行也” (“going along a path”), analyzing 彳 as the movement element and 呈 as the sound element. Chinese rhyme dictionaries also record the rain-path sense.
It reads like an old dictionary word, not a normal chat choice.
Do not substitute 逞 or 徑; their forms and modern uses differ.
