What 愽 means
It is a documented variant spelling of 博, not a new word.
The earliest exact-form evidence I could verify is 《字彙》, the Ming dictionary completed around 1615. 博 was explained in 《說文解字》 as “大通也,” the broad or open sense; later senses include breadth, wide learning, obtaining, and gambling. The official variant record says 愽 arose when 博’s 十 became 忄, making the relationship lexical, not merely visual.
For modern messages, use 博 unless preserving an older spelling; copy it from the palette above.
Historical and nonstandard; it signals a preserved spelling, not a new tone.
Using it decoratively may look like a mistake.
