An older form of 泊. 泊 can mean shallow water, mooring, or staying. A manuscript from Chu, one of ancient China's states during the Warring States period, preserves 淿. A commentator in China's Song dynasty called the graph combining a water mark and 帛 (“silk cloth”) an old form of 泊 while discussing inscriptions carved into stone drums.
