What 磈 means
Rugged stone, uneven ground, or a pent-up grievance. Classical Chinese works—the histories Records of the Grand Historian and Book of Han, the poetry collection Songs of Chu, and the Classic of Mountains and Seas—preserve mountain uses such as 磈山 and 磈氏. Later dictionaries use 磈硊 for rocky terrain and 磈磊/磈礧 for rough stones; 磈磊 also means a held-in grievance.
