Han character 秚

秚 is a rare written form of 拌, the Chinese verb for mixing or stirring. For ordinary Chinese writing, 拌 is the practical choice; keep 秚 when preserving a source that uses it. Fonts may not all display 秚.

What 秚 means

It is a rare written form of 拌, meaning “to mix.”

《集韻》, a Song-dynasty dictionary that grouped characters by rhyme, was completed in 1039 and records the same sense; the later Kangxi Dictionary does too.

A 2017 national dialect survey records 秚 for “stir/mix” in Wuxi, while noting 拌 is the usual spelling there. A Japanese kanji dictionary gives the same sense and the reading ハン (“han”), a Japanese pronunciation for this character.

It reads as a rare dictionary form, not routine Chinese writing.

For ordinary Chinese prose, use 拌; 秚 may look like a typo.
