What 蛌 means
A Chinese variant or mistaken form of 蛄 for “mole cricket.”
The early Chinese dictionary Shuowen Jiezi defines 蛄 as 螻蛄, the mole cricket; 喇喇蛌 is another Chinese name for it.
Taiwan’s CNS11643 gives Mandarin pinyin gǔ (unaspirated k, “oo” as in food, third tone low then rising); 漢典 gives tún (aspirated t, “oo” n, rising second tone) and labels 蛌 an error form of 蛄.
