What 裦 means
裦 is a variant of 褒 meaning praise or commendation.
In the Shuowen tradition, an old Chinese dictionary explains 襃 through a garment’s broad hem, then links “large” to praise.
Dictionaries connect 裦 with 褒, 襃, and 裒 in the same character family.
