What 褭 means
The early definition is tying a horse with a silk band. Bao 2.72 is a bamboo manuscript from Chu, one of the ancient states competing for power in the Warring States period.
Later poems use 褭 for winding smoke, swaying branches, or soft, graceful movement. Those senses link it with 裊 and 嫋; 䮍 is another written variant.
