What 訉 means
It means “many words”: speech that keeps going.
The 2024 dictionary record says 訉 is not included in 《說文》, an early Chinese character dictionary. It cites later Chinese dictionaries, including 《龍龕手鏡》, 《玉篇》, 《集韻》 and 《類篇》. Its variant list includes 𧥬, 𧥭 and 訙; the supplement 《字彙補》 labels 𧥭 an erroneous form.
where does 訉 appear in modern use?
A documented example comes from Taizhou dialect. A line recorded on November 6, 2020, uses the character with the local pronunciation of 凡 in “不要尽呃在这块訉吧,” roughly “Don’t keep talking here.”
