What 趉 means
It means going or running; context sets the shade. The early Chinese dictionary 說文解字 glosses 趉 as “to go.” The part 走 points to movement; 出 supplies the sound cue. Another Chinese dictionary, 玉篇, gives the sharper gloss “to set off running suddenly.”
Tang histories record 趉胡呂烏甘豆可汗 as the title of Murong Shun, a ruler of the Tuyuhun people, in 635 CE. Here 趉 is part of a title rendered in Chinese characters; it does not mean “khan” on its own.
It belongs in a historical quotation or a note about the character.
Alone in chat, it may look like a typo.
