What 輏 means
It means a light carriage, or figuratively “light” or “slight.”
The Book of Songs, an early Chinese poetry collection, uses 輶車 in a hunting scene for a nimble carriage with bells at the horses’ bits that carries hunting dogs.
The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary completed around 100 CE, defines 輶 as a light carriage and cites an older poem. In “德輶如毛,” the word means “light”: virtue is compared to a hair, though few can “lift” it. The Han Shu, an early history of the Han dynasty, also uses 輶 as an adjective. 輏 is recorded as a variant of 輶, so these are its inherited senses.
Can 輏 look different in another font?
Yes; fonts can draw the same Han character differently.
Unicode identifies a Han character, not one fixed regional drawing. Chinese-, Japanese-, and Korean-oriented fonts can follow different glyph conventions, and font fallback may choose a design from another region. That changes the appearance, not the character itself.
Literary and historical; its cited senses appear in classical Chinese texts.

1Can I tell a message’s language from 輏 alone?
No. A lone Han character does not identify the language of a whole message. The historical examples here are classical Chinese; surrounding text is needed to interpret a message.
