What 陮 means
Type dui in a Chinese Pinyin input method, then select 陮.
Pinyin is the Latin-letter system many Chinese keyboards use for Mandarin. Enter the letters without tone marks and choose the character from the suggestions.
What does 陮 mean?
陮 appears in 陮隗, a classical compound glossed “high” or “uneven.”
The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary, glosses the compound as “high”; the later Yupian dictionary gives “uneven.” Those glosses belong to the compound, so a lone 陮 does not identify a complete modern word. Its form is analyzed as 阜, the mound or earth element, plus 隹 as a sound element. Taiwan's Ministry of Education dictionary also records 𨻵 as a variant.
Specialist and dictionary-bound; a bare 陮 can be opaque in a casual message.
Alone, it does not identify a complete word or message; include its surrounding text.
