What 韥 means
A bow case or arrow tube; 韥 is a variant of 韣.
An early Chinese dictionary, 說文解字, from the Eastern Han period, defines 韣 as a bow covering and lists 韔 separately as another bow-cover term. Later Chinese rhyme dictionaries, which group entries by rhyme, identify 韥 as a variant of 韣; dictionaries also record an arrow-tube sense for 韥.
Classical passages use a case as an image for storing written learning.
