What ⷶ means
It adds a small A to a shortened Cyrillic word.
In Church Slavonic, a liturgical language written in Cyrillic, letters could be placed above shortened words. A covering mark called a titlo also marked abbreviations and numerals. The wider Cyrillic writing tradition appears in Old Church Slavonic manuscripts from the 10th century CE. That date does not establish when this particular A-shaped mark first appeared. Earlier manuscripts used covering marks more freely; later Church Slavonic printing gave letter-titlos more fixed roles in abbreviations.
How do I type combining Cyrillic A?
Enter the base letter first, then ⷶ.
ⷶ is a combining mark, so a font positions it over the preceding character. In JSON or JavaScript, the escape is \u2DF6; in HTML, use ⷶ. When several superscript letters occur together, historical typography may place them side by side, join them, or stack them; the layout alone does not change the abbreviation.
This belongs to specialist historical or liturgical Cyrillic typography.
ⷶ has no standalone translation; the surrounding word supplies its reading.

1Why can ⷶ look different in different fonts?
Fonts position combining marks differently. Paired titlo letters may sit side by side, join, or stack; those layouts do not create separate readings.
