What ॻ means
It marks Sindhi’s voiced g sound with a brief inward pull.
The sound is made at the back of the mouth, with the voice on and a brief inward pull of air; linguists call it a voiced velar implosive. A 1909 Sindhi course shows ॻ in a word for jaggery, a coarse sugar.
Sindhi is written in Devanagari and an Arabic-derived script; ڳ is the corresponding Sindhi letter in the latter. The underbar is built into ॻ. An older spelling used ग plus a separate anudātta accent mark (ग॒); its placement could clash with vowel signs, so the dedicated letter keeps the Sindhi sound distinct.

Questions people ask
1Why does ॻ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
