What 벊 means
It is a Korean spelling block, not a standalone message.
벊 combines the initial consonant ㅂ, vowel ㅓ, and final consonant cluster ㄶ in one syllable. The name label beonh describes those parts; it is not a Korean word or translation. Its meaning comes from the Korean word around it.
Hangul, the Korean writing system, was created in 1443 to provide a script for writing Korean speech. An explanatory book about the script, 훈민정음 해례본, was published in 1446. Those dates belong to the writing system and its guidebook, not this individual syllable.
How do I type 벊?
Use a Korean keyboard layout and enter the syllable’s parts.
In a Korean input method, enter ㅂ, then ㅓ, then ㄴ and ㅎ; the last two consonants combine into ㄶ.
On Dubeolsik, the standard two-set Korean keyboard layout, press q-j-s-g. If the input stays as separate jamo, check that Korean composition is enabled.
Is 벊 the same as 벊?
Yes: it is the same syllable in decomposed form.
Unicode treats 벊 and 벊 as canonically equivalent: the first is three conjoining jamo, and the second is the precomposed block. A text-normalization step can combine the sequence into the block or split the block into its jamo.
Neutral as part of Korean spelling; opaque when sent by itself.
A standalone 벊 is not a reliable reaction cue.
