What 춰 means
It means “dance” only inside the right Korean grammar. Alone, 춰 is not a universal symbol. In the verb 추다 (“to dance”), 추어 contracts to 춰, giving an informal form that can mean “dance,” “is dancing,” or “let’s dance,” depending on the sentence.
The polite informal form is 춰요; a question mark can turn the same form into a question. The surrounding word, ending, and punctuation do more work than the block alone.
Can I send 춰 by itself?
Only when the Korean context is understood. A bare 춰 in a chat can read as “dance!” or encouragement; 춰? makes it an informal question.
Use 춰요 with an elder, boss, or less-familiar person. Bare 춰 fits close-friend speech better.
How do I type 춰?
Type the jamo; the IME assembles the syllable block. Use a Korean input method: the component letters combine automatically instead of being entered as a single Latin-style key.
Hangul itself was developed in 1443 and explained in 1446 as an invented system for writing Korean sounds. Earlier Korean adaptations of Chinese writing, including Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal, belong to that older writing environment, not to 춰 itself. That history belongs to the writing system, not to a special symbolic meaning for 춰.
Informal Korean: playful or direct with a close friend, blunt with a formal addressee.
Bare 춰 can sound like an order; use 춰요 with a boss, elder, or stranger.

2Is 춰 an emoji?
No. It is ordinary Korean text, and fonts draw its block; it has no pictorial meaning on its own.
Why does 춰 look different in another font?
A font difference, not a new character. Hangul typefaces resize and space the component jamo inside the block, so the outline can change without changing the reading.
