What 좯 means
It has no fixed meaning by itself. The block combines consonant ㅈ, vowel ㅙ and final consonant ㄷ; these Hangul letters are called jamo.
Hangul’s creation is dated to 1443. In 1446, Hunminjeongeum, an explanation of the script, described its purpose and syllable-block design. No standalone use for 좯 is established as of September 2026.
