What 큍 means
Switch to Korean input and press z-n-l-x. On the standard two-set (2-beolsik) layout, z enters ㅋ, n then l make ㅟ, and x enters ㅌ. The input method editor (IME)—the software that composes Korean as you type—joins them into 큍.
The separated forms ㅋ ㅟ ㅌ show the keyboard parts. Unicode also represents the syllable with three joined Jamo, the letters that build Hangul syllables: 큍. NFC normalization composes that sequence into 큍, but it does not join the displayed keyboard forms ㅋㅟㅌ. Software that compares exact text can distinguish the stored forms unless it normalizes them.
What does 큍 mean?
It is one Korean syllable, not a full message by itself. Its written parts are ㅋ as the opening consonant, ㅟ as the vowel, and ㅌ as the final consonant. If someone sends only 큍, you can identify the syllable, but need the surrounding word or sentence to know its point.
Hangul was developed in 1443; a guide to the new letters, the Hunminjeongeum, was published in 1446. Hangul was designed to make writing Korean easier to learn. The guide also explained how the letters represent speech sounds and Chinese-character pronunciations.
Before Hangul, Korean writers adapted Chinese characters to represent Korean speech and grammar in systems such as Idu, Hyangchal, and Gugyeol. Hangul appeared in court explanations, religious and practical books, and teaching materials, then took on a broader public and national role. Its relationship with Hanja (Chinese characters used in Korean) and official writing changed over time. These are milestones in Hangul's history as a script; 큍 is one syllable within it.
Technical and language-specific: useful in Korean text or input discussions, but opaque as a standalone message.
By itself, 큍 does not tell you what reaction the sender intends.

Questions people ask
1Why does 큍 look different in different fonts?
Each font draws the same Hangul character with its own stroke shapes and proportions. The different look comes from the font, not from a different syllable.
