What 컠 means
Three Hangul letters combine into one syllable block.
Unicode decomposes it as ᄏ ᅤ ᆿ: Hangul’s individual letters, or jamo, for the initial consonant, vowel, and final consonant. Their compatibility forms are ㅋ ㅒ ㅋ.
Why was Hangul created?
To help people write Korean speech.
Before Hangul, Chinese characters were used to write Korean but did not fit its sounds well. The 1446 guidebook Hunminjeongeum (훈민정음, “Correct Sounds for the Instruction of the People”) explained the alphabet and its design.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
