What 뭇 means
It means “many,” usually before a noun.
Hangul, the Korean writing system, groups letters into syllable blocks; 뭇 combines ㅁ, ㅜ, and ㅅ.
In Korean materials of the 15th century, 뭇 appeared alone and before nouns. After the 16th century, 뭇금 named an indefinite quantity or group of objects and developed into 묶음 (“bundle” or “group”). Examples include 뭇 새 (“many birds”), 뭇사람 (“many people”), and the compound 뭇매.
