What 넺 means
It is one Korean spelling syllable, not a word by itself.
Its jamo (component letters) are ㄴ at the start, ㅔ in the middle and ㅈ at the end; together they spell one syllable. Fonts may space the parts differently.
Hangul, the Korean alphabet, was designed for Korean speech; earlier Korean writing relied on Chinese characters. The royal chronicle Sejong Sillok records it in 1443; the 1446 Hunminjeongeum guidebook explains its purpose and rules. Earlier names included Jeongeum, Eonmun and Banjeol; later names included Gukmun, Gukseo and Hangeul.
