What 넍 means
It gives you a syllable, not a translation.
Hangul syllables use jamo (letter pieces): ㄴ starts 넍, ㅓ is its vowel, and ㄵ ends it.
King Sejong devised Hangul in 1443 to make Korean easier to write; the 1446 book Hunminjeongeum explained its purpose and design. Before it, writers adapted Chinese characters to Korean in systems called Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal. Hangul later appeared in Buddhist and Confucian texts, practical guides, and letters; official documents stayed mostly in Chinese characters until 1894.
