What 읠 means
읠 is a Korean syllable made from Hangul letters.
Its parts are initial ㅇ, vowel ㅢ, and final ㄹ. Alone, 읠 has no fixed meaning; the Korean word or name around it supplies its role.
Hangul was designed for Korean speech, which Chinese characters did not represent directly. The first record of Hunminjeongeum, the text that introduced Hangul, dates to 1443; an explanatory book followed in 1446.
