What ⨎ means
They mark a modified integral, not two integrals. The underlying represents integration: for example, finding an area under a curve by adding up very thin strips.
The double stroke distinguishes ⨎ from the ordinary integral sign. To calculate with it, look for the author's definition of this modified integral, usually where the notation is introduced. Its descriptive name identifies the shape, not a calculation rule.

1Worth knowing
- A Unicode proposal dated 26 August 1999 lists ⨎ among large operators as “integral with double stroke,” without assigning a specific formula to the strokes.
Questions people ask
1Why does ⨎ show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Supplemental Mathematical Operators block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
