What ⽎ means
It marks the weapon radical in the Kangxi character index.
Early forms of 殳 depict a hand holding a striking tool, interpreted as a bamboo or wooden weapon used from a chariot. Inscriptions on bone and bronze from the late Shang dynasty, an ancient Chinese ruling house, show two uses: bone records include 殳 in a personal name, while bronze inscriptions use it for the weapon. This evidence reaches back to around 1200 BCE, among the earliest surviving Chinese writing.
A specialist sign used in radical indexes and character study.

1Questions people ask
1Why does ⽎ show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Kangxi Radicals block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
