What 𑽐 means
It marks zero in Kawi’s decimal digit set.
Kawi is named for a Sanskrit word meaning “poet.” It descended from the ancient South Asian Brahmi script through Pallava and was also called Old Javanese, the language it wrote.
It wrote Sanskrit in royal, legal, public, and religious inscriptions; later manuscripts carried literary and religious works.
Kawi was used from the 8th to 16th centuries; the script’s oldest known record is the Plumpungan stone inscription, c. 750 CE.
