What 𘬥 means
It contributes a reconstructed sound inside a Khitan word. Daniel Kane’s character index transcribes it as ś, a Latin-letter notation for a Khitan sound.
Created around 925 and credited to the Khitan scholar Yelü Diela, small script wrote Khitan beside the separate Khitan Large Script. Uyghur script is named as an inspiration, though the scripts show few similarities. A 2012 survey identifies a 1053 epitaph as the earliest surviving example. The script served under Liao, Western Liao and Jin. Jurchen writing adapted Khitan and Chinese-character methods. Surviving texts are mainly elite tomb inscriptions.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘬥 show as a box on some devices?
It is recent: Unicode added it in version 13.0 (2020), and phones and computers whose fonts are older than that have nothing to draw it with. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
