What 𘮂 means

Its numbered name is an index, not a translation.

Khitan Small Script mixes logograms (word signs) and phonograms (sound signs); phonograms usually form clusters to spell words. The inscription shows which role a sign plays.

Tradition credits this second Khitan script to Yelü Diela and says Uyghur writing inspired it, though the scripts look different. It accompanied Khitan Large Script and continued under Qara Khitai and Jin. Surviving examples include tomb epitaphs, monuments and objects.
