What 𘲈 means
It is part of Khitan’s mixed word-and-sound script. Khitan Small Script mixes word-signs for whole words with sound-signs for pronunciation. Sound-signs usually form clusters of two to eight characters. This isolated shape does not reveal its role; the inscription does.
Its forms drew on Chinese characters; Uyghur writing is cited as a model for its sound system. The neighboring Jurchen people later adapted Khitan models.
Khitan text can be vertical or horizontal. Script-aware shaping keeps clusters together; a character-by-character line can hide word groupings.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘲈 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
