What ᥉ means
It is the Limbu numeral for three.
That value stays three across handwritten and modern forms, though fonts can draw the glyph differently or omit it. The script was revived for Limbu books, schooling, newspapers, and ritual texts.
Traditional accounts credit Sirijanga Hang with the script's origin in the 9th century. Limbu writing belongs to the Brahmic family; the Limbu language is only distantly related to Lepcha and Tibetan. Limbu and Devanagari numerals can appear in the same document.
