What ᥈ means
᥈ means two in Limbu writing. It marks a quantity, not a spoken word; Limbu numerals also have forms for order, fractions, and multiples.
Limbu tradition says Srijanga rediscovered the script in the 18th century; historian Martin Gaenszle reads documents as evidence of invention. The oldest known writings were collected in the 1850s. Limbu writing carried oral traditions, Mundhum religious texts, and community publishing; in the 1990s ethnic revival, it became an identity marker.
Limbu is a South Asian abugida: consonants carry an inherent vowel. Accounts report influence from Lepcha writing and a partial visual resemblance to Tibetan script. Documents may mix Limbu digits with Devanagari or Arabic-Indic numerals.
Neutral as a number; culturally tied to Limbu writing.
A box may mean the font lacks Limbu support.
