What 𑅩 means
It is one consonant letter in Mahajani.
It is read as part of a written word; on its own, 𑅩 is not a complete word.
Where did Mahajani come from?
Mahajani belongs to the Brahmi family of Indian scripts.
Mahajani recorded Hindi, Marwari, and Punjabi, especially in merchants’ accounts, bills, diaries, and letters. A primer explaining Mahajani in Devanagari, another Indian script, appeared in 1850; an edition printed in Mahajani appeared in 1875.
Mahajani shares features with Landa scripts, a group related to Sharada, another Indian script tradition. It is also compared with Kaithi and Devanagari, two other Indian scripts, but most Mahajani letterforms are distinct.
