What 𖹫 means
It functions as one letter within Medefaidrin text.
The script and language developed together around 1927 in Obɛri Ɔkaimɛ, a Christian community in Nigeria where Ibibio is the local language. A 2010 study records church members calling Medefaidrin a sacred “spirit language” and saying it was revealed by the Holy Spirit; linguists find Ibibio and English influences in its patterns.
The script served worship, lessons, letters, and contracts. Its capital-and-small-letter distinction follows English writing conventions. Colonial authorities closed the church school in 1936; Sunday-school lessons resumed around 1986.

1Why does 𖹫 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
