What 𖩅 means
It is a letter used to write the Mro language.
Mro, also called Mru, is spoken mainly in southeastern Bangladesh and nearby parts of Myanmar. Here, “da” names a letter; it is not an English word or a complete Mro thought.
How did the Mro script begin?
Menlay Murang, also called Manley Mro, created it in the 1980s.
A 2025 account of Mro folklore tells how the god Turai sent a book containing a script and religion for the people with a cow; the cow ate it on the journey, and the writing was lost. The account says a yearly cow-sacrifice festival commemorates that loss. It presents the new alphabet as restoring written identity; lacking a script had been a source of shame.
Language-specific: one letter in the spelling of the Mro language.
By itself, it is not a complete Mro message.
