What ၃ means
It is used in Myanmar script.
The script writes Burmese, Mon, Karen, Shan, and other languages; ၃ keeps its value of three across them.
A South Indian script related to Brahmi was borrowed around the eighth century to write Mon. The first Myanmar-script inscription dates from the eleventh century; these dates trace the script, not the first appearance of ၃.

Questions people ask
1Why does ၃ show as a box?
A box usually means the font lacks the character. Zawgyi, a legacy Myanmar encoding, can also display incorrectly in Unicode fonts because their character mappings differ.
