What 𐓧 means
It is the Osage letter La, for the L sound. Osage writing used varied Latin spellings; an early source dates to circa 1851. The Osage Nation began a standardization program in 2004. By 2006, a practical alphabet made from altered or fused Latin shapes was in regular use, though the community treats it as a distinct script. The letter set was refined in 2014 and approved by the Osage Nation in 2015.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𐓧 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
