What ㎯ means
It is a unit of angular acceleration: how rotational speed changes over time. A radian measures a turn; “per second squared” means that turn rate changes each second.
Unicode places it among square signs from older East Asian character sets. The square Latin unit forms in this set mostly derive from older Korean standards; their layout let a short abbreviation take one full character space alongside East Asian writing.
Technical notation for changing rotational speed.
Only the seconds are squared; the square shape marks the cell form.

1Can normalization change ㎯?
Yes. NFKC, Unicode’s compatibility-normalization form, expands it to rad∕s² as separate characters, so exact-character matching may no longer find the one-cell form.
