What 𖩽 means
In Muishvung, it marks e with tone 3. That tone is mid-high, level or rising. The C comes from a Latin-based spelling convention: it labels pitch, not a consonant after e.
Lakhum Mossang created this alphabet in 1990 for Tangsa languages in India and Myanmar, rather than adapting an older script. Designed for several varieties, its best-established use is Muishvung (Mossang); other varieties realize tones differently, and some communities use Latin spellings. Community members revised it in 2019 and promoted it publicly in 2020.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𖩽 show as a box on some devices?
It is recent: Unicode added it in version 14.0 (2021), and phones and computers whose fonts are older than that have nothing to draw it with. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
