What 𖪝 means
A standalone nasal m that can answer “yes.” In Muishvung (Mossang), this m sound can form a syllable by itself. In Gam Win’s Latin-letter spelling system, c marks tone 3; the same tone category can sound different across Tangsa varieties.
Lakhum Mossang created the Tangsa script in 1990 to write his native Muishvung. It was taught by hand until around 2012, when font work began. The Tangsa Script Development Committee revised it in 2019 for more Tangsa varieties. The first printed document was distributed at the Pangsau Pass Festival in January 2020. Some Tangsa communities also use Latin-based spelling systems.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𖪝 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
