What 𖪏 means
/ɯ/: a high vowel with unrounded lips, in tone 2.
Lakhum Mossang created the independent Tangsa alphabet in 1990 for his Muishvung (Mossang) variety in Arunachal Pradesh. The Tangsa Script Development Committee formed in 2019 and promoted it in 2020. Other Tangsa communities also use Latin-based spelling systems.
Gam Win’s Latin spelling uses x for tone 2; Tangsa vowel letters include the tone. When a syllable ends in a vowel, both letters in a two-vowel sound carry the same tone. Another Tangsa variety may pronounce a tone category at a different pitch.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𖪏 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
