What 𘠲 means
It is a cataloged part of a character, not a word. Modern dictionaries use Tangut character parts to describe full characters and index them. “051” is a catalog number, not a pronunciation or historical reading.
The Tangut script, also called Xixia, is a distinct system for writing Tangut. It was created under Western Xia’s first emperor around 1036. Its square style resembles Chinese writing, but its characters are not Chinese. It served state records, teaching, and translations. The earliest surviving document dates to 1072; an inscription from 1502 shows it remained in use after Western Xia fell in 1227.
A box may mean your current font or app lacks Tangut component glyphs; the character itself has not changed.
A technical catalog token for Tangut character analysis.
Treat it as a component label, not a translated word.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘠲 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
