What 𘪜 means
It is an index clue, not a definition. The number names the catalog entry, not a Tangut reading.
Western Xia introduced Tangut writing in 1036 as a distinct script for state life and Buddhist texts. Its forms drew on Chinese writing and scripts used by neighboring Khitan peoples. Manuscripts from Khara-Khoto, a ruined city, probably date from the 12th or early 13th century and preserve Chinese translations, military works, and literature.
Technical; useful in Tangut dictionaries, character analysis, and specialist input.
“669” is an index number, not a Tangut reading.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘪜 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut Components block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
