What 𘫘 means
No; 𘫘 is a structural piece, not a complete Tangut word.
Unicode’s Tangut component set gives scholars reusable pieces for indexing, describing, and analyzing full Tangut characters. The number 729 is a catalogue identifier, not a translation or pronunciation.
The Tangut script was promulgated around 1036 for the Western Xia state and appears in Buddhist, legal, and literary texts. The latest known Tangut inscription is dated 1502.
Why can’t I translate it by itself?
A Tangut component has no fixed meaning or sound by itself.
In structural analysis, a full Tangut character may borrow a piece from another character to signal a semantic or sound relationship. The source character and the piece’s position matter; the bare component does not supply a standalone gloss.
The Tangut script drew partly on Chinese writing and is discussed alongside Khitan and Jurchen scripts. Those historical connections do not make their glyphs interchangeable. Here, “radical” is a broad label for an analytical piece, not a promise that this component gives the full character’s meaning.
Technical and scholarly; outside Tangut studies, it reads as a character-analysis token.
By itself, it will not reliably communicate a word, name, or feeling.

Questions people ask
1Why does Tangut component-729 show as a box?
A font-coverage issue. The app needs a font that supports Tangut Components; otherwise, the character may appear as a missing-glyph box. The box does not change the character’s identity.
