What 𗃌 means

𗃋 is glossed “hug” and “hold up”; 𗃌 is its variant.

The Tangut script was promulgated in 1036 to write the Tangut language and mark the identity of the Western Xia state. The earliest transmitted Tangut document is an official record from Guazhou dated 1072. Tangut writing continued after Mongol forces conquered Western Xia in 1227; an inscription from Baoding dated 1502 documents later use. If this character appears as an empty box, the font lacks a Tangut glyph; that display failure does not change the character.

1

Why does 𗃌 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
