What 𗃍 means
In Tangut, 𗃍 means “to spread” or “to scatter.”
The Tangut-led Western Xia state ordered a new script for its language as a marker of state identity; the government designated Tangut as its official language in 1036. The earliest Tangut-script document cited in scholarship is dated 1072. A stone inscription—a text carved into stone—at Baoding dated 1502 shows the script remained in use long after the Western Xia fell. The Liao state developed Khitan writing, and the Jin state developed Jurchen writing; both were distinct scripts in the same regional history.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗃍 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
