What 𗃧 means
Unicode identifies 𗃧; it does not translate it.
To get a Tangut 170E7 gloss, consult a Tangut dictionary or the surrounding passage: the code point alone does not reveal the word’s translation.
The Tangut script was created in 1036–1037; its earliest surviving example is an official document from 1072. It served Western Xia (Xixia) government records and Buddhist texts, marking a distinct state identity. It resembles Chinese writing but is a separate script. After Western Xia fell in 1227, Tangut continued under later dynasties.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗃧 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
