What 𘠈 means
It helps scholars describe and find Tangut characters. Components index dictionary entries and show how characters are built. In one index, 𘠈 abbreviates 𘁝, the character “middle”; it names a position, not a translation of the component.
The Tangut (Xixia) script was created in 1036 under Li Yuanhao for state-building and Buddhist writing; it drew on Chinese writing principles and the earlier Khitan example. Tangut texts include Buddhist books, Chinese classics, military works, and literature. One Khara Khoto Buddhist book in a collection dates to 1084. A box can mean the font lacks Tangut coverage.
Scholarly, for Tangut-script reference.
“009” is an inventory label, not a translation.
